AuraGuard

The new ‘natural’ feed supplement to support pet’s health

Supporting a healthy gut is critical due to the role it plays in the systemic health, metabolism, behavioural status and overall wellbeing of pets.
The use of AuraGuard in pet food treats is a powerful and proactive approach in maintaining their health.

Optimal health in pets cannot be achieved without a healthy gut

Many metabolic, autoimmune, and cognitive diseases have been linked to gastro intestinal disturbances or imbalances. The gut has numerous important roles beyond basic digestion. It hosts trillions of bacteria, fungi, and other organisms (the gut microbiome), houses 70 % of the immune system, performs most of the neuro transmitter production, influences metabolism and much more. AuraGuard is a specially formulated phytogenic supplement that can be used as an ingredient in pet food / treats to maintain a healthy gut function. AuraGuard has been designed by scientists and is based on natural plant extracts which are proven to support the reduction of inflammation and oxidative stress in challenged canine cells. In addition, AuraGuard promotes beneficial bacteria in the gut, leading to a more diverse and balanced gut.

What is Leaky Gut Syndrome?

Leaky gut syndrome in dogs is a digestive condition which occurs because of inflammation to the lining of the gut cell wall, resulting in gaps appearing between the cells.

This allows bacteria and toxins to pass into the bloodstream.

In a healthy dog, the intestines have small gaps called “tight junctions” that allow water and nutrients to pass through, while blocking harmful substances.

When damage occurs, the tight junctions become weak and the resultant increased intestinal permeability allows bacteria, toxins and undigested food particles to pass from the gut into the bloodstream.
